As a member of Amazon.com, I am obviously the first person to write a REAL review on this video! Currently, the other four reviews concerning this video are false, since Summerslam didn’t even take place until last night (Sunday, August 24). So, as a true member, I will write a serious review on WWE Summerslam 2003. Summerslam 2003 was a good PPV. It wasn’t perfect. It had a lot of flaws and disappointments. Here’s a list of the matches with a star rating for each:

WWE Tag Team ChampionshipLa Resistance vs. Dudley Boyz – these stupid anti-American tag teams are in bad taste! I understand the fact that wrestling need good guys & bad guys, but patriotic tag teams like La Resistance is not just bad, but it’s not even necessary as far as entertainment goes. The Dudleys dominate most of the match, then get cheated & lose the match due to outside interference. A terrible way to start out a big PPV like Summerslam. **

The Undertaker vs. A-Train – this match was a little bit better, with two big heavyweights battling it out. Not bad for a big man match, as both men put forth quite an effort. Still, nothing new here. **1/2

Eric Bischoff vs. Shane McMahon – this so-called “match” wasn’t much of a match at all. There was a lot of mic work done throughout the match. However, it was quite interesting. Announcer Jonathan Coachman makes a surprise heel turn when he interferes in the matchup on Eric’s behalf! S. C. Steve Austin comes down and also gets involved in the situation. This was great entertainment! ***

Fatal-Fourway matchRhyno vs. Tajiri vs. Eddie Geurerro vs. Chris Benoit – this was a very good matchup. A lot of athleticism and talent involved here. I wish it could’ve been longer. But it was still enjoyable nonetheless. ***3/4

WWE Smackdown Championship matchKurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar – this was easily the best d@mn match on the card. Lots of great countering, athleticism, and moves are displayed in this awesome bout. The match drags on a little bit and doesn

YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK. It arrived quickly and in excellent condition. I read it in no time since each page was better than the last. I laughed, I cried, and it reminded me of my childhood when I went to the circus. I recommended it to our book club and several friends.

A second heart attack has forced me to exercise in a more “controlled” manor. My cardiologist has implied that day hikes (6 hours or so) with more than 4,000 feet in elevation change, or hopping on my off road motorcycle and dueling it out with the “young guns” was not the most beneficial type of exercise for a 55 year old man who has had 3 stints placed to keep arteries open. Playing is good for the head, but the heart needs something more regular. The Forerunner 305 with the heart monitor is a nearly perfect tool for someone who wants to record or gauge physical activity. When used outdoors the GPS receiver keeps track of distance, speed, and elevation. Using that data (and your personal profile), it can calculate calories consumed. When paired with the heart monitor you can see where, when, and why, your heart is working the hardest.
The software that comes with the unit (Garmin Training Center) is pretty week in my opinion, but it is a functional tool. I prefer a piece of software called “SportTracks” [...]. for tracking my progress and making charts and graphs for my doctors. The 305 is comfortable to wear and has a reasonably simple user interface. It does take some time to get used to the button layout and menu structure, but there is probably good reasons for Garmin’s choices here (I just don’t know what they are). I have done “side by side” comparisons with my Garmin Etrex Vista HCx (MTK chipset), and My Tomtom ONE XL (Sirf chipset) against the Forerunner GPS receiver (Sirf chipset). At no point were any of the 3 in disagreement about any location by more than 30 feet. I have tested this in the car, on my bicycle (yes I have had all 3 mounted on my mountain bike), and hiking (I’m also a geocacher). The Forerunner is a top quality GPS lacking only the mapping and routing functions of it’s much more expensive playmates (I doubt those functions would be much use on a screen that small anyway!).

I think the title says it all. I love this case and will never be without it! If you have an iPhone you need this case!

I found this book to be a very touching story with an interesting setting. The time period, the place, and the characters come to life in this wonderful story. I don’t want to give too much away but if you enjoy a book that makes you feel as though you are there…this is one! There were times while reading this I wanted to throw a few punches, and other times I wanted to stand between August & Rosie, and times I just wanted to pat the hand of the older Jacob. I’m sorry I finished this book…I will miss these characters.

Holds the GPS in place with no problems at all. I even got it to work with my magellan 1470. Grips well and stays in place, even when taking sharp turns.

Before I purchased this book, everything I’d heard about it – which, granted, was very little – made me believe the author was African-American. Unfortunately, I found out that was not the case just prior to reading it. The mention of that fact – the book written about the lives of black maids from the point of view of a white author – got me turned up noses, rolled eyes, and pursed lips. I pride myself on not settling with initial feelings that I have that are racist, biased, or prejudiced. However, I found myself thinking thoughts such as, “How is a white woman gone write about life from the point of view of a black woman?” Mind you, I still haven’t cracked it open yet.
Finally, I began reading and what I found most difficult was getting a rhythm. I have read books that are written in dialect, so to speak, such as Zora Neale Hurston’s work and usually have to read them aloud until I find the rhythm of the writing. But this was different. I found myself thinking, “See? She don’t even know how to write the way we talk.” My authority on the matter is self-ordained. Never mind I didn’t grow up in Mississippi in the 60’s and never was a maid – I have decided I am an authority on writing the way we speak, also ignoring the fact that I am not a best selling author yet.
As I go further into the story I am very much engaged. I want to know what the Terrible Awful was and am guessing why Miss Celia has a rust colored stain on her rug. I am pulling for Skeeter and feeling sorry for Stuart. And I feel like this is more of the author’s story than her perspective of life from the point of view of a black maid.
But in the end I think, “Why is this book just now being released?” I am not asking a question about the author’s timing in writing the book nor the time it took to be published and released. I feel like this should have been released in 1965. Then I would appreciate it better. But right now it just makes me angry. As so much of what I hear about Mississippi does.

The Artemis Fowl series is one of my favorites. It’s written in a way children and adults can enjoy, with creative plot twists and interesting, amusing characters. The book has plenty of humorous bits along with tense moments that will have you neglecting anything else so you can finish reading.

We wanted a portable mount that would be easily accessible and transportable from one vehicle to the other and that could be easily hidden from site. This one fit all criteria and works great. We are very happy with our purchase.

This book had a good story line, but the language and sexual content was more than I like.
