Good commuter bike. So far the bike is good, I had to do very little repair work out of the box. The bike makes good speed, but no kickstand is kinda stupid. Otherwise, this bike is super light weight and looks great on the road.
Great Entry Level Road Bike. I bought this bike after doing some research online for about 2 months. I also talked to a lot of people who are serious riders. After receiving Diamondback Della Cruz Womens Beach Cruiser Bike 6 days later i had a friend of mine help put it together. It took us over 2 hours to put it together and fine tune it, but it was well worth the time. He is actually one of the many people i consulted with before i purchased a bike. He took the new bike out for the maiden voyage and he was very impressed with how the bike handled.
After we finished tweaking everything(which you have to do on EVERY new bike) i took the bike out for my first ride. I have to say that i was very impressed. Granted i don’t have a lot of experience with high priced bikes, but this bike performed just like i thought it would. It’s sturdy, light weight about 22 pounds, and can pick up speed really easily.
When i was looking at this bike on Amazon, I never heard what the shifters were and where they are located. So here is that info for potential buyers. The shifters are located in the middle of the handle bars. They are a little hard to get used to compared to when i road my friends road bike with the shifters located under the break handles, but this bike does shift very smoothly.
All in all i will give this bike five stars and have already logged 10 miles on it today. It is definitely worth the money if you are just getting into this sport or just for fun. I hope this review will help some of you considering buying this bike.
Schwinn Bike. I bought the 54cm bike. I am just starting to get into riding and just wanted a cheap but durable bike, and i think this bike is exactly that. Ive ridden on it a few times already and so far it has been pretty good. The only downer is that the handle bars aren’t adjustable. I was able to bring the seat all the way down so that it is comfortable. Its a descent bike for the price.
