I think that this is an excellent book. I enjoyed how the author developed the characters and kept the story moving at an interesting pace. She manages to capture the everday life of black women and the white women they woked for. The story definitely had an air of realism. The only thing that might be added is that not all black women worked for white women in the 60’s.
