The Apple ipod touch. More or less a mini computer. With over 75,000 apps. Now, this is all well and good and all. But all of the ipod fans and whatnot are leaving out a very important issue. You have to pay for most of the apps. Furthermore, you have to pay just to upgrade the firmware. If you are careless you can rack up a gigantic bill from buying apps. While this is a great ‘mini’ computer, if you’re pretty much dead broke and can only really afford the ipod itself, it’s a waste of money if all you can do is ‘look’ at these apps and can’t afford to get them, and you’re really better off buying a Zune HD, which is cheaper, offers free upgrades, and all of the apps are currently free. While there aren’t a whole lot of apps, there are plans to add more.
