I’ve compared a lot of scales at amazon and Bed Bath and Beyond and this scale had the best writeup. I am extremely pleased with the product and I would put this scale up against any $100 scale out there. I would recommend this scale to anyone looking for a solid, easy to use, beautifully designed scale.

I had decided to not purchase the Garmin Friction Mount and relayed this to the seller. They asked me to return the item (which I did), and have STILL not received my refund. They sent “multiple” emails (which I have copies of all…they were “busy” and would get back to me). HOW do I get my refund??

I am so pleased with this chopper. It doesn’t pulverize foods, it actually chops them. It totally speeds up chopping onions and you can make delicous salsas and chutneys in it. It also does great in the dishwasher. I use it so much I got one for my parents and now they’re hooked too. My dad (Texan) makes this delicous salsa (it’s so much cheaper, healthier and more delicous than store-bought)…just use the chopper to mince the jalapenos then chop the onions before adding remaining ingredients:
1 (15 oz) can whole peeled tomatoes
1/3 large sweet onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 fresh jalapeno, seeded and diced
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 lime, juice only
salt and pepper to taste
However, if you are looking to make an investment, I kind of wish I’d gotten the 9 or 12-cup Kitchenaid Food Processor ($150-$200) b/c it comes with a 4-cup sized mini bowl that can do all the same stuff this 3-cup one does.

You never know how good a warranty is until you have to file a claim on it. I had purchased two previous warranties through SquareTrade “just in case” the refurbished items I purchased did not hold up. The items where great and I never had to file a claim. The third time I purchased a warranty on a camera that gave out after about 4 months of use. I was amazed and impressed how quickly SquareTrade responded; sent the information on how to mail the item back to them at their cost; and how quickly they received the item got back to me that it was not repairable and issued a FULL refund of the purchase price. They are definitely true to their word. Never again will I buy an in-store warranty since I know I will get a cheaper price through SquareTrade and I know first-hand they will honor the warranty should I have problems. I highly recommend them.
