I loved the characters, the way it was written, the beauty of the language. The only thing I didn’t like was that it ended. Very realistic characters some of whom you love, some you hate, but you want to meet them all. It was both interesting and emotional to see from the other side of the coin…sort of like an “upstairs Downstairs” of the south. I don’t think either side was painted all good or all bad, we were just able to see the two worlds interact and the “realities” of both sides.
I would definitely recommend this book…it also has a beautiful love story. The narrative style of using each main character’s voice was great.
Blaze on Rocky Ridge
Not as described. This is a pretty good bike except fot the fact that the front fork is listed as being the “omni” front fork which has adjustable tension. The bike i recieved came with the “suntour” fork which is non-adjustable. If i were to shop for another bike i would first go to sears, target, or walmart to make sure that the bike i buy has exactly what Schwinn Ridge AL Mens Mountain Bike advertises.
