I am not a reader as some people are, however, this book was the kind of book you just can”t stop reading. It has so much more than a storyline. It is a world that you are able to become apart of and feel each character come alive. Kathryn Stockett is a very talented and gifted writer. I am happy i had the opportunity to experience this world.

It’s easy to see why girls are hooked on Twilight. Really, it’s a great escape type read. And I liked all the books in the series except the last one (major disappointment). So while I loved Twilight and New Moon and Eclipse, and loved the movies, I do have to say that I cringe when I think of teen girls reading it and thinking it’s a great example of a love relationship. The feminist in me just wants to shout at Bella that she’s in a completely unhealthy relationship. She loses her own identity because she’s so obsessed with Edward. And while I like lots of characteristics of Edward, he’s absolutely too controlling. Overall, I would never want my daughter to be so crazy for a guy that she let her world revolve around him. Also, I thought that Bella’s obsession with becoming a vampire got to be a little annoying. It seemed like her family meant nothing to her, becoming a vampire was just everything to her. Even more than what Edward wanted for her. I sort of thought that being beautiful and strong was so appealing to her, that what she was giving up didn’t matter at all. That was disappointing. I would have liked to see her struggle with that more than she did.
So while it’s a fun read and I do recommend it for light reading–I also definitely want to have a disclaimer saying “Remember, it’s fantasy! No girl should EVER let a boy control your life or make you feel basically suicidal if you’re not together.”

The seller didn’t view my original order. So, needless to say, I never received by order. The seller ignored my emails. Now I’m at the end of my transaction. It seemed to be such an easy buy. Well, so it goes. It is now being handled by the appropriate parties.
Kidz Banz Ultimate Polarized
Great case. Very durable and protects the Phone well. However, the belt clip holder doesn’t hold phone that well. Needs alittle better design. Having said that, the holder does a nice job of holdng the phoneas as a display and viewing it on a table. No need to hold your phone while watching a movie.

This little vacuum has done very well for me. It really cleans my rugs well.
Satinwear 02 Ultimate Blow
This is my first GPS type device and I really like it! Now, I am free to walk/run all around the area and can get the exact mileage. This eliminates me having to go on the same route day after day just because I know what that mileage is. I never used the heart rate monitor (yet) so I can’t comment on that feature. The basic workout display is easy to use and I like the interval beep that tells me when to switch from walking to running. I am still unsure about the software as I did install the CD but it is not very user friendly. Now, I don’t do my walk/run without it!
